I normally watch the news while working. Well, I actually allow it to watch me.
This morning, I decided to put on my headphones and listen to my playlist. Ole’ school Kirk Franklin came on, “LOVE”.
The song asks the question, “What it means to really love? ”
The question made my heart heavy.
1 Peter 4:8 says, “Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.”
This morning I pray that love covers all of the “isms” … racism, nationalism, sexism, absolutism, socialism, legalism, egoism, and every other “ism” that provokes anger and divisiveness; and that it is covered by the love that can cover a multitude of sins.
